What you’ll do
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and operational plans with a focus on retail marketing.
- Manage the retail marketing budget and planning, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting. Lead the yearly planning round for budget and headcount.
- Oversee marketing technology platforms, interfacing with I/T and support engineers – Salesforce CRM and marketing cloud, digital assist management. Identify emerging technologies and support future requests.
- Administer the digital asset management system to ensure updated and accurate digital assets. Confirm proper system access and legal approvals.
- Supervise efforts to source and manage various marketing agencies. Develop with stakeholders the statement of work, contract and performance KPIs. Conduct regular performance reviews and make recommendations for ongoing work.
- Liaison with Legal to make certain all retail marketing campaigns are appropriately approved and implemented. Develop and lead a streamlined and efficient approval and feedback process with the legal team.
- Monitor and analyze retail campaign performance, customer behavior, and market trends using AI and sophisticated data analytics techniques.
- Develop and conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize campaigns. Make recommendations for improved campaign effectiveness.
- Manage the marketing vehicle fleet to ensure efficient usage across various marketing needs. Ensure proper care and maintenance of vehicles. Coordinate with logistics on transportation of vehicles.
- Lead collaboration and integration efforts with brand, design, product, sales and retail teams to promote maximum success.
- Create and maintain marketing performance dashboards and KPIs.
- Report to senior leadership on marketing performance, insights, and recommendations.
Location & Travel Expectations:
- This role is planned to be based at the Scout Motors corporate headquarters location to be determined in 2025. The final location will be further discussed and aligned with the successful candidate.
- The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events.
- Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 10 years of proven experience in varied marketing roles.
- Expertise in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
- Experience directing and managing marketing agencies.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for metrics and optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain healthy cross-functional relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record of building a motivated, high-performing team and developing a fun and productive team culture.
- Intuitive ability to navigate organizational complexity and confidently lead strategic, data-driven discussions with top management.

Pay Transparency
This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.
Initial base salary range = $160,000.00 - $192,500.00
