Salesforce Lead

Summary

SCS Financial is seeking a highly motivated Salesforce Lead to join our growing team. SCS Financial is a multi-family office that provides world-class wealth management, estate planning, and investment services for Ultra-High Net Worth families and institutions. SCS’s Salesforce platform supports client service workflows, client data management, business development, client engagement & marketing, and internal operational workflows. As Salesforce Lead, you will assist with platform administration and collaborate with SCS’s business units to design and develop platform modules.

Focus provides team members the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule. Our hybrid model is defined as 3 days in office work required per week, while giving team members the option to work remotely 2 day per week, or as assigned by their team leader.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver scalable, efficient, and high-impact solutions across the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Collaborate with business teams, executive leadership, and consultants to define requirements and design technical solutions.
  • Support business teams and their needs for report and dashboard building.
  • Build efficient solutions in Salesforce using modern features, including Lightning App Builder, Flow Builder, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
  • Assist with maintenance of a highly structured security model.
  • Support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Monitor and drive user adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce applications and integrations.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including solution design, technical specifications, and test plans.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce features and functionalities and evaluate their applicability to our organization’s needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or similar; or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration and development experience in a Salesforce environment that uses modern practices, including experience with complex, enterprise-level projects. 
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security models, profiles, roles, permission sets, and compliance requirements. 
  • Proven experience building, designing, or managing API integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to model data, create reports, and build effective dashboards.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively lead sessions with business stakeholders and end users to design efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in the Boston office 3-4 days/week.

Preferred

  • Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, and/or Developer certifications.
  • Experience working in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience as an administrator for Marketing Cloud and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform events.
  • Experience with Einstein AI and/or Agentforce.
  • Experience working with Git and Salesforce Developer Experience tools in VS Code.
  • Experience with data migration tools (e.g., Data Loader). 
  • Understanding of data structures and design patterns.
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
  • Experience with JavaScript and Python.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $115,000-$130,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
