POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a visionary leader to inspire and develop our Premium and Ticket Sales & Service teams. As the Senior/Vice President of Premium and Ticket Sales & Service, you will lead product offerings and campaigns, elevating our premium and ticket services to new heights with bold, successful strategies.

This role demands exceptional leadership skills to motivate and celebrate team members while fostering an inclusive environment. You will recruit top talent, lead a dynamic, high-performing sales and service team, and cultivate a culture of excellence where everyone is encouraged to develop their skills and contribute their unique perspectives. By implementing robust training programs and creative incentives, you will drive peak performance and align the team with our ambitious goals.

The ideal candidate will be a trailblazer with a proven track record in leading sales teams within the sports and entertainment industry. They will possess a unique blend of sharp business acumen and creativity, focusing on revolutionizing the club's ticketing strategy through cutting-edge sales techniques and outstanding team leadership.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop and execute detailed premium and ticket sales and service strategies, establishing clear objectives and actionable steps to achieve sales targets.
  • Promote interdepartmental collaboration to craft innovative sales tactics, leveraging extensive market research and trend analysis to boost revenue.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire Premium, Sales & Service teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement through targeted training, strategic guidance, and consistent performance management.
  • Attract and retain top talent, ensuring a diverse, inclusive and engaged team that aligns with our organizational vision, values and goals.
  • Work closely with the People & Culture team to design and refine incentive schemes that encourage peak performance, aligning with broader ticket sales strategies and organizational goals.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, teamwork and collaboration, ensuring the growth and well-being of all team members.
  • Identify and nurture future leaders within the team, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent for the organization.
  • Manage budgets effectively, collaborating with the Finance department to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to organizational policies.
  • Ensure seamless integration with other club departments such as Marketing, Digital Strategy, Business Analytics, and Corporate Partnerships to support comprehensive club objectives.
  • Optimize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and related technologies to improve client management and operational efficiency.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Major League Soccer (MLS) and National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) ticketing matters, accommodating visiting team ticket requests, and handling unique ticketing scenarios.
  • Investigate and implement cutting-edge technologies to improve the effectiveness of ticket sales and service teams, and to enrich fan interaction experiences.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of ticket sales data, crafting comprehensive reports to inform strategic decisions by management and ownership groups.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in leading high-energy sales and service teams to achieve and surpass goals.
  • Track record of effectively recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent aligned with the organization’s core values.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative sales, service, and premium initiatives, informed by an understanding of current industry market trends.
  • Expertise in constructing a comprehensive sales cycle for both ticketing and premium offerings to maximize revenue potential.
  • Capacity to identify and seize new business opportunities throughout the year through creative and strategic planning.
  • Proficient in the use of ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster and CRM systems such as KORE and Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive revenue generation and make informed decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and adopt emerging AI technologies that can revolutionize ticket sales, enhance fan experiences, and increase operational efficiency, coupled with a strong curiosity for exploring new advancements in technology.
  • Outstanding leadership qualities with the ability to coach, inspire, and influence others.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a rapidly changing environment managing multiple priorities with efficiency and effectiveness.

WORK ENVIRONMENT 

  • This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with on-site responsibilities at our Headquarters & Training Facility in Renton, WA, as well as attending matches at Lumen Field and the Starfire Training Facility.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Must reside within Washington state upon date of hire.
  • Must be able to facilitate own local travel.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.

 

COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PERKS

The annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $250,000 and eligible for bonus opportunities. Base pay at time of offer will take into account job-related knowledge, skills and experience required for the role, internal equity and market.
