Preventive Maintenance Lead Technician - $1,000 sign-on bonus
Rate of Pay $: $33/hr and $1,000 sign-on bonus
POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary role of the Preventive Maintenance Lead Technician for Engineering Department is to assist the Management team in the leadership and supervision of the department; Assisting in the day-to-day operation of all preventive maintenance tasks Including, but not limited to performing maintenance, repairs and assisting with all fire and safety Inspections. Preventive Maintenance Lead Technician reports to the Engineering Manager or the Director of Engineering
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- This position Is to primarily cover the morning and/or swing shift but open to help with coverage in all shifts.
- Supervision and Leadership of the Team Members
- Assist and Supervise all Preventive Maintenance Tasks
- Assist with supervision and completion of given tasks on Alice
- Assist with supervision and completion of projects on Alice
- Assist Management with Purchase Orders, Ordering, Inventory and Office Tasks
- Assist with fire inspections
- Assist and lead all Preventive Maintenance tasks
- Perform all job duties in a safe manner and abide by all safety policies and procedures
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and guidelines
- Report any hazards, Injuries, and safety concerns to supervisor immediately
- Perform other duties and tasks as requested by supervisor
- Demonstrate warmth and sincerity in all interactions
- Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor in both verbal and nonverbal communication
- Take ownership of all guest requests and be proactive in ensuring resolution as needed
- Always maintain impeccable grooming and personal hygiene and wear uniform as directed
- Uphold Sensei values in daily practices
- Successfully complete all training and certifications needed for the position
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all guests
- Report all faulty equipment, supply needs, maintenance needs, safety hazards, injuries, and other concerns immediately to your supervisor

- Customer Service – Follow up on complaints, questions, and concerns; respond to internal customer needs in a friendly, timely and efficient manner

- Safety – Comply with established safe work practices and attend to all safety-related training provided or made available by the Company
- Due to the intimate nature of the resort with limited number of guests on property, must assist teams laterally across all departments to lead a seamless guest flow throughout the different resort spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ preventive maintenance experience
- Minimum 2 years’ plumbing experience
- Minimum 3 years’ repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment
- Minimum 5 years’ of painting, and minimum 5 years’ refinishing wood surfaces
- Minimum 2 years basic HVAC, Water treatment, electrical experience
Required Technical / Other Skills and Abilities
- Must be safety-conscious and show vigilance and attentiveness to their work
- Must possess good communication skills including reading and legible writing to complete standardized safety inspection reports
- Must possess knowledge of administrative and office procedures, and systems such as but not limited to computer system certificate/ or demonstrate ability to perform word, excel, and outlook and other computer application program to be perform assignments.
Required Licenses/Certifications
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license and an acceptable MVR (Moving Vehicle Record)
- Basic California handyman certificate
- Basic Computer system certificate / or demonstrate ability to perform
- Basic CPO certificate
- Basic HVAC certificate
