Job Description

So, what will your new role look like?

We’re looking for a Partner Development Manager – EMEA to accelerate ShareGate’s growth across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Reporting to the Channel Manager – EMEA, you will focus on developing and activating IT service providers and resellers who are not part of our named managed account program. These partners require proactive engagement, structured follow-up, and enablement to unlock their full revenue potential.

You’ll act as the first strategic point of contact for many emerging and developing partners in the region—helping them understand ShareGate’s value proposition, differentiate us from competitive tools, and build successful migration and governance practices powered by our solutions.

This is a high-impact role centered on converting inbound interest and early-stage conversations into active, revenue-generating partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Engage and qualify inbound partner inquiries across EMEA;
  • Drive partner activation through structured follow-up and proactive development;
  • Position ShareGate’s migration and governance solutions against competitive tools;
  • Support partners in building and expanding Microsoft 365 migration services;
  • Expand governance-led opportunities with ShareGate Protect;
  • Educate partners on licensing, pricing models, procurement, and support processes;
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the partner ecosystem;
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline tracking and improve conversion across non-managed accounts;

 

A typical week?   

  • Respond to new inbound partner inquiries from across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa;
  • Deliver introductory calls and product demonstrations on ShareGate migration and governance solutions;
  • Follow up with partners after initial conversations to drive activation;
  • Position ShareGate against tools partners may already be using;
  • Coordinate with QBS Software to ensure smooth transactional onboarding;
  • Review partner activity to identify re-engagement opportunities;
  • Support pricing, licensing, and enablement discussions;
  • Align with the Channel Manager and Channel Account Managers on regional priorities;

 

What does your future team look like?   

You’ll join a collaborative and growth-oriented Channel team focused on expanding ShareGate’s partner ecosystem across EMEA.

Working closely with the Channel Manager and Channel Account Managers, you’ll ensure alignment between managed and non-managed partners while driving activation across emerging accounts. You will also collaborate with QBS Software, our regional distributor, to ensure smooth transactional transitions from engagement to purchasing.

This team values ownership, consistency, and strong follow-through—balancing strategic partner conversations with disciplined execution to generate measurable partner-driven revenue.

  • Expanding ShareGate adoption into new buyer personas and service offerings;
  • Strengthening activation discipline across a diverse EMEA partner base;
  • Streamlining distributor collaboration to maintain partner momentum;

 

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years experience in channel sales, partner development, or IT solution sales;
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem;
  • Experience working with IT resellers or managed service providers;
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and commercial way;
  • Strong organisational skills and follow-up discipline;
  • Self-starter mindset with structured execution ability;
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an asset;
