Here are some of the EXCITING things you’ll get to do:

  • Lead sourcing activities for NPD projects, incl. new technologies and components where supplier capabilities, cost structures, and risks are not yet established.
  • Drive new supplier identification, qualification, and development efforts to support innovation and speed-to-market objectives.
  • Manage increased complexity associated with NPD projects, including risk assessment, supply continuity planning, and commercialization readiness.
  • Influence and coordinate across PD, Engineering, Quality, and supply chain teams to ensure sourcing strategies align with business objectives.
  • Provide stronger cost negotiation capability and project leadership.
  • Develop and manage relationships with existing OEM suppliers, including pricing, cost management, performance management
  • Lead a team of supply chain professionals in Vietnam and support team development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain operations in China and SEA.
  • Overall OEM’s Performance Management
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Education/Certifications/Affiliations

  • Proficient in verbal and written English; This role will be expected to communicate with Global team independently – English skills are deemed important to enable this communication.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Skilled in Computer languages such as Microsoft Office, and Project

 

Travel Requirements

  • Flexibility for domestic and international travel as required.
