While working closely with the Digital Marketing and Sales teams, this role owns the transactional journey—ensuring marketing acquisition efforts and sales strategies translate into measurable online revenue growth.  The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and has a proven track record of scaling a DTC ecommerce landscape.

Responsibilities

DTC eCommerce Leadership

  • Own the strategy, performance, and P&L for Sharp’s direct-to-consumer eCommerce platform, ensuring profitable growth and a seamless customer experience.
  • Develop and execute sales, promotional, and merchandising strategies aligned with brand priorities and product roadmaps.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing to translate traffic-driving campaigns into optimized onsite engagement, balancing storytelling with sales conversion.
  • Lead A/B testing and funnel optimization, overseeing initiatives to improve CVR, AOV, and repeat purchase rates.

Marketplace Growth & Management

  • Manage Sharp’s presence and growth on retail marketplaces (Amazon, Best Buy.com Marketplace, Walmart Marketplace, etc.), focusing on assortment strategy, pricing, and content optimization.
  • Leverage insights, reviews, and competitive data to improve digital shelf visibility, product rankings, and conversion rates within each platform.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure consistent strategy between marketplaces and retail.com accounts, maintaining clarity of ownership.

Site, Experience & Merchandising Optimization

  • Own site merchandising strategy, including product assortment planning, navigation, onsite search optimization, and content hierarchy to improve discoverability and conversion.
  • Lead ongoing optimization and enhancement of Sharp’s eCommerce platforms to ensure superior UX, mobile responsiveness, performance, journey mapping and site stability.
  • Implement and refine new platform features, personalization capabilities, and UX improvements that drive customer engagement and revenue growth.
  • Manage end-to-end product catalog setup and merchandising, including technical SEO foundations and alignment with campaign execution.
  • Partner with Creative and Brand teams to ensure product presentation and storytelling reflect Sharp’s design and technology leadership.
  • Lead the digital roadmap for the eCommerce experience, including feature development, content refreshes, and integrations such as onsite search, ratings and reviews, payment solutions, and personalization tools.

Analytics, Forecasting & Operations

  • Establish and monitor key eCommerce metrics—including traffic, conversion rate, margin, CAC, and customer retention.
  • Collaborate with demand planning and operations teams to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory levels, and fulfillment performance.
  • Monitor and optimize key KPIs including traffic growth, engagement, add-to-cart rate, conversion, and revenue.
  • Develop dashboards and executive reports detailing DTC and marketplace insights with actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure platform compliance, data accuracy, and operational best practices across all commerce platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with the Digital Marketing team on campaign timing, messaging alignment, and performance analysis without overlapping ownership of paid media or content.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Service, and IT to streamline order management and post-purchase experience.
  • Identify new partnerships, technologies, and innovations that elevate Sharp’s digital commerce capabilities and competitiveness.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
