Product Manager

Remote

Sift Healthcare is building AI that makes healthcare payments work better for everyone, and we’re looking for a Product Manager to help bring our RevProtect solutions to a fast-growing market. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you’ll work with Sift‘s Product, Data Science and Data Engineering teams to turn our AI strategy into products that deliver real value for health system clients.

This is a role for someone who can set direction and stay close to the build. You’re an established product manager who has shipped software people rely on, and you’re energized by hard, meaningful problems. You bring working knowledge of revenue cycle management, ideally covering pre-claim and denial management workflows, and you’re comfortable translating messy user needs into clear, high-impact solutions.

In this role, you’ll own the product development process end-to-end, defining features and writing the user stories that capture what our customers actually need.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and Communicate the Product Vision: Partner with leadership to shape and communicate the strategy and roadmap for our AI/ML clinical documentation improvement solutions, keeping it aligned with client needs and business goals.
  • Translate Product Vision into Solutions: Own the specification process, producing clear and complete documentation that turns product vision into solutions that generate value.
  • Own the Product Backlog: Maintain a prioritized backlog of clearly articulated user stories and features that deliver real value to clients.
  • Lead the Development Process: Guide the team through the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, grounded in agile best practices—and keep looking for ways to move faster and work smarter.
  • Deliver High-Quality Work: Own the quality of what ships and hold the team to a high bar.
  • Build With the Technical Team: Work hand-in-hand with data scientists and engineers—in the details of the model and the architecture, not just the requirements—to ship high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Ensure Seamless Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders so we consistently exceed expectations.
  • Monitor and Measure Success: Track progress within our agile framework, surface and mitigate risks early, and keep improving how the team works.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a software environment, with a proven track record of shipping products
  • Strong technical fundamentals and genuine comfort working alongside engineers on how software gets built
  • A bias for execution—you like to roll up your sleeves and get things done
  • Working knowledge of hospital and professional billing workflows, and the provider reimbursement process—ideally spanning pre-claim requirements through final payment—gained in a healthcare setting or an RCM-focused HIT company
  • Experience with analytics, SaaS, or data-driven solutions in a regulated or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI concepts
  • Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations
  • Solid grounding in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience working with agile teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to make technical concepts clear to audiences of varying levels and experience
  • Strong stakeholder management—you can facilitate, negotiate, and bring people along
  • Strong analytical instincts—you can break down a complex problem, pinpoint the real user need, and design a creative solution
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup, adapt quickly as things change, and stay curious about where AI/ML and healthcare are headed.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Business or Computer Science preferred

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be based on skills, experience and performance. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for significant performance bonuses and benefits.

Race & Ethnicity Definitions

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

An "Armed forces service medal veteran" means a veteran who, while serving on active duty in the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service, participated in a United States military operation for which an Armed Forces service medal was awarded pursuant to Executive Order 12985.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
