Senior IT Engineer – SaaS Systems and API Integrations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer with expertise in SaaS systems and complex API integration to join our dynamic Sigma IT Engineering  team.This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between various SaaS platforms and internal systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across the Enterprise SaaS applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS application management, API integrations, and building automation frameworks with a deep understanding of security, scalability, and reliability. This role requires deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and the ability to coordinate between internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless IT operations.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Design, implement, and maintain integrations between SaaS ERP, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, Okta, Slack, Atlassian, NetSuite, etc.) and internal applications.
  • Develop and manage APIs, webhooks, and middleware connectors using integration platforms or custom code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, DevOps, Finance, HR, etc.) to identify integration requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Manage lifecycle of SaaS applications including onboarding, configuration, SSO integration, and offboarding.
  • Ensure integrations are secure, compliant, and scalable in line with IT governance policies and security standards.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms for integration and scalability.
  • Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data flows between applications.
  • Efficiently handle day-to-day IT Operation tickets while also ensuring the stability, security, and performance of systems, networks, and SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve users technical issues via ticketing system, chat, phone, or in person.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, integration points, and support procedures.
  • Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on key projects.

Qualifications We Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years  of experience with SaaS systems administration, Access management, API Integrations , Source Code Management Tools (e.g. Git Hub, Bit Bucket etc )
  • Strong hands-on experience with Webservices, RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, OIDC and Webhooks.
  • Strong experience with scripting and writing automation (e.g., RAML, YAML, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell etc).
  • Knowledge of ITSM , IAM tools (e.g. Jira), identity systems (e.g., Okta), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, cloud-native, SaaS-first environment.
  • Experience working with enterprise data integrations involving HRIS, finance, ERP, or IAM systems.
  • Strong communication, Systems Architecture and documentation abilities.

Additional Job details

The base salary range for this position is $150k - $180k annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work at Sigma Computing. This role is eligible for a variable pay (based on goal achievement), stock options, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
