The Role:

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Fulfilment Manager to lead our Manchester warehouse operation and drive the growth of our SimpliLogistics our new third-party logistics (3PL) business. This is a hands-on leadership role combining day-to-day warehouse management with a clear commercial remit: to develop and expand our FBA fulfillment service for external clients.

Following an internal transition, you will take ownership of a well-established operation and be empowered to raise standards, build client relationships, and develop a scalable 3PL offering. The ideal candidate will bring proven Amazon FBA expertise alongside experience managing third-party client accounts.

What you’ll do:

Warehouse Operations

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of our Manchester fulfilment warehouse, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all inbound and outbound activity.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a team of three, setting clear performance expectations and fostering a positive working culture.
  • Oversee stock management, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts, maintaining high levels of order accuracy and on-time despatch.
  • Ensure the warehouse is maintained to a high standard of safety, organisation, and cleanliness in line with health and safety requirements.
  • Manage carrier and supplier relationships, negotiating service levels and resolving issues promptly.
  • Track KPIs and produce regular operational reports for senior leadership.

Amazon FBA & 3PL Business Development

  • Own and grow our Amazon FBA fulfilment service for third-party clients, acting as the primary point of contact for onboarding, day-to-day account management, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare, label, and ship FBA inventory in strict compliance with Amazon’s requirements, minimising stranded inventory, chargebacks, and defect rates.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the 3PL client base, supporting business development efforts with pricing proposals, service overviews, and operational capability statements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing 3PL clients, providing clear communication on order status, SLA performance, and any exceptions.
  • Stay current with Amazon Seller Central and Vendor Central requirements, policy changes, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable processes and systems that can support increased 3PL volume as the business grows.

What Values You’ll Share:

Essential

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or fulfilment operations, with direct team leadership responsibility.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon FBA — including prep, labelling, shipment creation, and Seller Central management.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stock accuracy, and order fulfilment workflows.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially aware with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
  • Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

Desirable

  • Previous experience managing third-party logistics clients or operating within a 3PL environment.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and/or multi-channel fulfilment.
  • Experience preparing for and passing Amazon FC audits or quality inspections. • Knowledge of carrier integrations, shipping platforms (e.g. Royal Mail, DHL, UPS).
  • Experience scaling a fulfillment operation or launching new client services.

What’s in it for you?

Working at Simplisafe, you’ll have access to:

  • Competitive salary and annual bonus
  • 28 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Enhanced pension
  • Life assurance
  • Private dental and healthcare
  • Free eye test and contribution to glasses

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
