We are looking for: a Marketing Specialist, who will play a pivotal role in bridging creativity with organization. Collaborating with a dynamic marketing team, you will coordinate and execute a diverse range of events, including virtual webinars, in-person conferences, small-scale dinners, exclusive Customer Advisory Board events and hybrid engagements. This is a comprehensive role that spans from the initial concept and strategy through planning, execution, outreach, and post-event evaluation. By driving event success, you'll enhance SimSpace's brand presence while delivering measurable results. In this hands-on position, you'll have the chance to make a tangible impact on our growth and create meaningful experiences for both attendees and yourself.
What will you be doing as a Marketing Specialist at SimSpace?
- Take charge of organizing logistics for trade shows and conferences, ensuring all schedules, timelines, and staff assignments are skillfully managed for smooth event execution.
- Design and implement comprehensive booth, table, and event space layouts tailored to the unique requirements of each event, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience that aligns with the event’s objectives and SimSpace's brand identity.
- Take ownership of pre- and post-conference outreach efforts, including engaging prospects and customers to drive attendance and participation at our events. Ensure outreach campaigns are strategically designed to meet pre-determined numbers, effectively building anticipation and maximizing event success.
- Leverage our established marketing and sales integrations and processes to seamlessly manage the tracking, prioritization, and execution of pre-event preparations and post-event follow-ups, ensuring alignment and efficiency at every stage.
- Efficiently qualify and prioritize leads generated from attendee engagement to provide the sales teams with actionable contacts and owning the nurture of others.
- Develop interactive/creative processes and activities to boost participation and coordinate with team members for a consistent brand message.
- Analyze event data to deliver valuable insights on return on investment, aiding in strategic decision-making for future events.
- Monitor event costs in relation to the budget and report on the findings. Track follow-up activities and measure conversion rates to evaluate the long-term impact of our events.
What are the qualifications to apply? To be successful as a Marketing Specialist, you need to have:
- 3+ years with event planning and coordination.
- 2+ years in lead qualification and prioritization.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms is required.
- Willingness to travel required. Travel is expected approximately 40-50% of the time, primarily domestic, some international, with occasional extended trips based on business needs.
- Flexibility to adapt to travel schedules, including evenings and weekends, when events require.
- Knowledge of attendee engagement tracking methods.
- Ability to use digital analytics platforms for ROI analysis.
- Proven track record in boosting brand visibility at industry events.
- Demonstrated success in developing marketing strategies for event promotion.
- Experience in increasing participation by creating interactive activities.
- History of successfully managing event logistics for trade shows and conferences.
- Experience designing and executing booth, table, and event space layouts tailored to event-specific needs including experience in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Proven ability to engage prospects and customers through pre- and post-event outreach campaigns including but not limited to experience drafting marketing emails and social media posts.
- Strong understanding of marketing and sales integration processes to ensure seamless event tracking and follow-ups.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze event data, track conversion rates, and measure long-term event impact to inform future strategies.
- Experience monitoring event budgets, managing costs, and delivering insights on financial efficiency.
