Rising seniors have the opportunity to join our Engineering Team as part of Sixth Street's Summer Internship Program. Overview of Program:

  • Participate in a 10-week internship program designed to give you a robust experience as part of Sixth Street’s Engineering Team
  • Assume ownership of software components and services
  • Use technology to add scale and operating leverage to our business
  • Contribute to all aspects of our software development life cycle from design to post-production monitoring
  • Work with tools like GitHub, Jira, Docker, Snowflake, and cloud solutions
  • Obtain hands-on, meaningful, and substantive developer experience in a small class that is representative of our Analyst Program

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited program and must be on track to graduate in either Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Excellent academic record – please include GPA on your resume and note that we may request a copy of your transcript
  • STEM majors and knowledge of programming languages such as Python, SQL, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Excellent work ethic and high degree of professionalism and commitment to team and a goal-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Strong ethical standards and integrity

Internship Dates:

  • June 1, 2025 - August 7, 2025

Compensation 

The annualized base pay for this position is expected to fall between $95,000 - $110,000 and will be prorated based on the duration of the Summer Internship program. The annualized base pay offered to the chosen candidate will be commensurate with a candidate’s relevant experience and other qualifications for the position, as determined by Sixth Street in its sole discretion. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
