Job Overview:
As Vice President of Sales, you will lead our Enterprise Sales organization to drive growth and profitability while building and developing high-performing teams. This executive role requires strategic vision, exceptional leadership, and the ability to translate company objectives into effective sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company vision and revenue targets
- Establish long-term sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual/quarterly/monthly sales quotas; projecting expected sales volume and profit across existing and new product lines
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to develop cross-functional initiatives that drive business growth
- Lead the transformation of sales operations to optimize efficiency and maximize market penetration
Sales Performance
- Oversee the achievement of divisional and organizational revenue targets
- Analyze market conditions, industry trends, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Build and maintain relationships with key accounts and strategic partners at executive levels
- Develop and implement innovative sales initiatives to capture key demographics and market segments
- Create and manage sales forecasting models to ensure predictable revenue growth
- Guide product positioning and pricing strategies to maximize market share and profitability
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by monitoring supply/demand dynamics, economic indicators, and competitor activities
Team Leadership & Organizational Development
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales organization
- Establish performance metrics, conduct regular reviews, and implement effective reward systems
- Develop and execute talent acquisition and retention strategies
- Create professional development pathways for sales personnel at all levels
- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement
- Mentor sales directors and managers to enhance their leadership capabilities
- Guide team members in understanding DRAM/NAND roadmaps and helping customers select appropriate technologies/products
Customer Relationship Management
- Serve as executive sponsor for key strategic accounts
- Meet with high-value customers to assess evolving needs and strengthen relationships
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums
- Ensure the sales team effectively communicates customer feedback to inform product development
- Drive the organization's customer-centric approach to sales and service
Business Operations
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
- Implement efficient sales processes and technology solutions to enhance productivity
- Create comprehensive reporting structures to track performance against KPIs
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance departments to align objectives
- Oversee the development and maintenance of DRAM/NAND sales plans
Qualifications & Experience:
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience with at least 5 years in senior management
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building high-performing teams
- Deep industry knowledge, particularly in DRAM/NAND technologies and markets
- Experience managing complex, enterprise-level sales cycles
- Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L responsibility
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills at executive levels
- Strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to translate vision into action
- Experience working in a diverse, multi-national cultural environment
