Job Overview:
SK hynix is seeking a skilled and proactive Facility Design and Operation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth setup and management of our support facilities while maintaining high standards in operational excellence. The ideal candidate will spearhead vendor relationships and manage critical operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and setup of employee-facing facilities, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with company standards.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with potential operational partners.
- Develop and refine operational manuals to facilitate seamless execution.
- Oversee the practical setup and implementation of general administration and support facilities.
- Compare and analyze proposals from vendors to ensure competitive pricing and service excellence.
- Facilitate budget alignment discussions with headquarters, ensuring financial feasibility.
- Prepare detailed budget estimation documents to support informed decision-making.
- Define requirements for information management systems and assist in system testing.
- Lead the development of specifications for facility management software and support its deployment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and methodologies.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Capable of managing multiple concurrent tasks under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for problem solving.
- A willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Understanding of safety and quality assurance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field experiences of at least 5 years.
- Proven track record in facility setup and vendor management for large-scale operations.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills with experience managing multiple vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive proposal analyses and budget assessments.
- Problem-solving capabilities to manage facility defects and resolve operational issues.
- Prior experience in overseeing the operation of office spaces, cafeterias, fitness centers, and other general facilities.
- Strong commitment to maintaining high standards in cleanliness, landscaping, catering, and parking operations.
Requirement:
- Authorized to work in the US
- Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is highly desirable
- Willingness to travel periodically to San Jose, South Korea, and other locations as needed
- Ability to work extended hours when necessary due to global time differences
- Background check required
