Video Production Lead

VIDEO PRODUCTION LEAD - EL SEGUNDO, CA
We are looking for a versatile, passionate and experienced Video Production Lead who can create compelling content across a variety of mediums for a diverse set of audiences. This role blends creative vision and technical expertise to tell Skyryse’s story in compelling and innovative ways — from ideation through final production.
From capturing dynamic footage of our products to editing content with attention to narrative and technical accuracy, this Video Production Lead will work in partnership with the VP of Sales and the Head of Communications to effectively communicate Skyryse’s brand and vision.
This role requires a keen creative eye, strong storytelling abilities, and technical expertise to deliver compelling visual content that aligns with our brand vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end video production, from concept to final edit.
- Capture a range of content that communicates the Skyryse story, from short-form social clips to brand campaigns, in partnership with the Head of Communications
- Maintain a high attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sensibility, ensuring all content aligns with brand guidelines.
- Develop creative video strategies to engage audiences across platforms.
- Develop playbooks to streamline collaboration and content production with cross functional teams
- Manage timelines and resources efficiently for all productions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for content production, ensuring ongoing coordination and alignment with technical teams including Engineering, Operations, Flight Testing, and General & Administrative Departments to capture Skyryse’s growing successes
- Stay up to date with emerging technology and storytelling techniques within the aviation community to keep content fresh and innovative.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of production work, from agile social media content to premium brand storytelling (no student portfolios please)
- Proven ability to film, edit, direct, and produce.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally and with external production partners.
- Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other industry-standard editing tools.
- Understanding of lighting, sound, and cinematography techniques.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple productions simultaneously.
- Background in aviation, aerospace, automotive, or tech branding preferred.
- Basic experience in motion graphics or animation is a plus.
