About the Job:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement A/B tests using Optimizely, leveraging your skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to modify web elements directly.
  • Own the development and management of a robust testing backlog, prioritizing CRO tests that have the potential to increase lead quality and revenue
  • Effectively pull and leverage data to generate insights and inform decisions around overall funnel strategy, opportunity, and feature prioritization.
  • Act as Product Owner for engineering-involved tests, managing requirements, timelines, and stakeholder communications.
  • Work with the performance marketing team to develop and test strategies that are appropriate for different types of traffic and user experiences.

Skills/Experience you have:

  • 3-5 years prior experience in conversion rate optimization
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and a basic understanding of JavaScript
  • Proficient with Optimizely, both frontend and server-side
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Full knowledge of growth marketing levers (key metrics, how they affect each other)
  • Strong understanding of pixels, UTM parameters, and online ad tracking
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or a related field

Skills/Experience preferred:

  • UI/UX design experience, preferably with Figma
  • Experience with GA4, Mixpanel, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms
  • Exposure to UX research methods (usability studies, JTBD interviews)

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Must be able to communicate via phone calls and/or video conferences (mainly for concierge and sales roles)

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Washington, and New York City residents* $113,500 to $185,000 + RSUs + benefits.

Salary at SmartAsset is determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the contiguous United States.
