Agency Partner
Smartly is seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Agency Partner to lead the charge in acquiring and growing end-client business within agency networks. You’ll work at the cutting edge of the fast-paced digital advertising industry, which allows you to learn fast about growing and nurturing your own target agencies, managing customer relationships with leading advertisers, and scaling the operations of an ambitious growing company.
As an Agency Partner at Smartly, you will put your consultative instincts to use, and fuel your drive for accelerating existing business growth. Lead and expand your influence across key agency accounts, offering innovative solutions as a pioneer of the digital marketing industry. This role is designed for a sales "hunter"—someone who thrives in building a book of business within our key agency relationships shortens sales cycles, and knows how to convert relationships into long-term partnerships. You’ll operate at the forefront of digital advertising, driving consultative, high-impact conversations that connect Smartly’s solutions with measurable outcomes for advertisers.
As the Agency Partner at Smartly, you will...
- Hunt and close new business: Proactively identify and pursue new end-client opportunities through your agency network. Lead from the front in building a robust pipeline and closing deals.
- Own and grow a book of business: Take full ownership of a portfolio of agency accounts—driving commercial growth, accelerating client adoption, and expanding into new lines of business.
- Lead strategic sales cycles: Craft and execute on strategic sales plans. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver best-in-class pitches, demos, and proposals.
- Build C-level relationships: Establish trusted partnerships with senior stakeholders across the Big 6 and top independent agencies. Become a go-to consultative expert for media strategy and platform innovation.
- Drive revenue impact: Manage forecasting, target-setting, and opportunity tracking via Salesforce. Consistently hit and exceed quarterly revenue and growth targets.
- Deliver value-based solutions: Understand agency and client pain points deeply and map Smartly’s solutions to their specific business outcomes.
- Collaborate to win: Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Operations to ensure the seamless delivery and ongoing success of each account.
- Be visible in the market: Represent Smartly at industry events, conferences, and key meetings to increase our visibility and capture demand.
We're definitely looking for you, if you...
- Bring 7-10 years of experience from media agencies, ad tech, or SaaS platforms—or a combination of these.
- Have proven experience in selling complex technology solutions to enterprise clients.
- Understand the agency landscape. A strong network across Big 6 holding companies or large independent agencies is a plus
- Are a skilled communicator and strategic thinker, able to engage both C-level decision-makers, day-to-day account leads and media practitioners
- Have record of meeting and exceeding quota consistently. You’re driven by sales, relationship building, account expansion, and helping your partners achieve their business targets and marketing goals
- Invested in learning about Smartly’s suite of products, to effectively sell up to the C-suite or down to end-users as needed
- Ability to collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (product, marketing, engineering, customer success, etc.)
- Are able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events

The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual’s background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary. In addition to annual salary, Smartly.io’s total rewards provide employees with stock options, medical/dental/vision insurance, retirement savings benefits, parental leave, 5 weeks vacation, unlimited sick days, life insurance and disability benefits.
