Senior Art Director
We are seeking a visionary, creative technologist who can handle the everyday production for our global creative service clients. Aside from production, your role includes strategic planning as a client-facing creative partner. As a Senior Art Director and part of the Global Creative Service team, you will help our clients improve and plan their social advertising campaigns. You will consider the client’s current offering and partner with them to set the visual strategy going forward. In addition, you will have the chance to work closely with our developers to create fully automated creative tools in our platform.
We're looking for you, if you...
- Have 5+ years’ experience at an ad agency, digital agency, or an in-house team of an online advertiser (e-commerce, mobile apps, or gaming a huge plus)
- Are experienced in creating tactical, paid social ads, as well as conceptual thinking and stunning design work
- Have knowledge of social media advertising, particularly Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, Google and YouTube, including all ad formats and placements
- Have experience working in a sales-driven marketing environment – communicating and advising advertisers on creative strategies and concepts
- Have a cross-functional mindset and experience in working with product managers and developers
- Have a strong vision for branding and excellent eye for high-quality ads
- Have a clear understanding of SaaS and scaled creative tools, tech and tactics
- Have a deep understanding of video production, design, and editing
As a Senior Art Director at Smartly, you will…
- Join Smartly’s Global Creative Service team that creates and runs scaled Paid Social advertising campaigns on behalf of top global advertisers
- Work closely with the Global Creative Director in their mission to deliver scalable cross-channel, full-funnel creative campaigns, unlock new customers to grow team revenue, leverage in-house AI models and tools to build campaigns for our global client list, enable and evangelize partners by showing what’s possible with Smartly’s creative tools
- Guide the client in the style, visual strategy, and appearance of their digital advertising
- Consult advertisers on creative best practices across the digital media suite
- Understand data and be able to take action based on the performance of your creative work
- Master the Smartly platform’s creative features (like templating, automating, and scaling) and leverage them in daily creative work
- Provide product feedback on the usability of the creative functionalities in the Smartly platform
