QA Platform Engineer - Senior Full-Stack Developer (Contractor - 6 Month Term)

As a QA Platform Engineer (Senior Full-Stack Developer) at Smartly, you will…

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications with a focus on high performance and scalability
• Develop and optimize React-based frontend applications, using modern patterns like Hooks, Context, and Redux for state management
• Implement robust backend services with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, integrating with cloud storage and third-party APIs
• Collaborate closely with QA and Product teams to ensure reliable, well-tested software
• Build dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics to provide insights and drive decision-making across the platform
• Drive performance tuning and optimization for high-volume data processing
• Maintain best practices in version control, testing, deployment, and code quality
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, learning, and knowledge sharing across the engineering team

We are looking for you, if you…

• Have 5+ years of professional web application development experience
• Are proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, Node.js, and full-stack development
• Have hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
• Can work autonomously in a production environment and take ownership of projects
• Have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance speed with quality
• Are experienced in building dashboards, reporting tools, and working with large datasets
• Ideally have experience with ad-tech or creative automation platforms, multi-language apps, QA workflows, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
