Sales Development Representative Intern

Smartly is excited to kick off applications for our Fall 2026 Internship Program!

Are you interested in building a career in sales? In this hybrid NYC internship, you’ll gain hands-on experience within our Sales Development organization and learn how Smartly identifies and engages prospective customers. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing while building foundational skills in account research, outbound prospecting, personalized outreach, and pipeline generation.

As an Enterprise Sales Development Intern, you will…

• Research prospective customers and identify key contacts within target accounts
• Support outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Help create personalized outreach based on each prospect’s business needs
• Partner with Account Executives to research and prioritize high-value accounts
• Collaborate with Marketing to leverage campaigns, events, and content
• Use Salesforce to document prospect activity and engagement
• Use data and AI-powered tools to improve prospect research and outreach
• Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and sales training

We are looking for you if you are…

• A full-time rsenior, or graduating student at an accredited four-year college or university
• Interested in pursuing a career in sales, business development, technology, or digital advertising
• A strong written and verbal communicator who enjoys connecting with new people
• Motivated, resilient, and comfortable taking initiative
• Curious, coachable, and eager to develop your sales skills
• Organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

This internship is paid at $20 per hour and will be approximately 30 hours per week from October 6 through December 17, 2026.
