
Director/Head, Demand Center of Excellence (Hybrid in Bangalore)

As the Director / Head of the Demand Center of Excellence (COE), you will build and lead a team that enhances marketing execution, operational efficiency, and innovation in partnership with global demand generation leaders. You’ll help connect strategy to execution, ensuring consistent, measurable impact across markets and programs. This role reports to the VP, Global Demand Generation.
You Will:
- Lead and grow the India-based Demand COE team supporting global demand generation programs
- Partner closely with global Campaign Strategy, Field Marketing, and Operations teams to deliver scalable, high-quality execution
- Strengthen collaboration, communication, and operational alignment across regions and functions
- Establish workflows and performance standards that enable consistency, speed, and continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth within the COE
- Represent the India COE as a trusted partner within Smartsheet’s global marketing organization
- Perform other duties as assigned
You Have:
- 12+ years of experience in digital marketing or demand generation, including 5+ years leading multi-channel or global teams
- Proven experience across key demand functions, including Paid Media, ABM, SEO/AEO, Email, Webinars, Events, and Direct Mail
- Demonstrated success building or leading shared service or center of excellence models
- Strong understanding of operational best practices, process optimization, and marketing automation
- Experience with marketing and ABM technologies such as 6sense, LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Marketo, and Salesforce
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to inspire and align global teams
- Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis
- Fluency in English is required
