Senior Director of Product Marketing
We’re on a mission to democratize AI by building the definitive AI data development platform. The AI landscape has gone through incredible change between 2016, when Snorkel started as a research project in the Stanford AI Lab, to the generative AI breakthroughs of today. But one thing has remained constant: the data you use to build AI is the key to achieving differentiation, high performance, and production-ready systems. We work with some of the world’s largest organizations to empower scientists, engineers, financial experts, product creators, journalists, and more to build custom AI with their data faster than ever before. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler!
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Product Marketing to lead and scale our go-to-market engine. As our product marketing leader, you’ll serve as the connective tissue between product, marketing, sales, and customer success. You’ll craft differentiated narratives, influence roadmap strategy, launch new products, and enable the teams who take our platform to market.
You should be both an architect and a builder with the vision to shape strategy and the drive to execute. If you’re passionate about AI/ML, enjoy translating technical products into compelling stories, and thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, we’d love to meet you.
Main Responsibilities
- Messaging & Positioning: Craft clear, differentiated, and scalable product messaging that speaks to enterprise buyers, technical users, and business stakeholders alike.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Own product launch processes such as campaign rollouts and sales enablement.
- Persona Development: Build and refine ICPs, decision-maker maps, and customer journey frameworks.
- Product Launches: Plan and execute successful rollouts for new features and platform offerings in coordination with product, marketing, and customer teams.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor the landscape, analyze competitors, and translate insights into strategy adjustments.
- Analyst Relations & Thought Leadership: Support AR strategy and help secure placement in key industry rankings and media coverage.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8–12 years in B2B product marketing, with 3+ years in AI/ML, dev tools, or SaaS
- Proven success launching technical products in B2B startup or scale-up environments
- Experience owning positioning and GTM strategy from scratch
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and leadership
- Technical curiosity and ability to translate deeply technical concepts into simple narratives
- Strong storytelling and design instincts—can bring messaging to life across channels
- Familiarity with tools like Figma, Salesforce, Google Workspace and Google Analytics
- Technical expertise in AI model development, including pretraining, evaluation, domain-specific knowledge distillation, agentic reasoning, and tool use
- Community-building experience
