
Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern
SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is currently looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to contribute to and be responsible for driving the growth of SOCi’s customer base by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. The ideal internship candidate will have a proven track record in exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This internship offers hands-on experience in sales development within a fast-paced tech environment. You'll gain exposure to real-world sales strategies, client relationship-building, and more.
SOCi expects to pay an hourly wage of $20/hour USD.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities through both outbound prospecting and following up on inbound leads.
- Engage with potential clients via phone calls, emails, social media, and virtual meetings.
- Conduct research on target accounts to help develop tailored outreach strategies.
- Support the scheduling and coordination of meetings and demos between prospective clients and the sales team.
- Keep accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to enhance messaging and optimize lead generation tactics.
- Contribute to meeting internship performance goals for lead qualification and meeting scheduling.
- Stay informed about industry trends, the competitive landscape, and SOCi’s product offerings.
- Provide valuable feedback to marketing and product teams about lead quality and market insights to improve strategies.
What You’ll Need to be Successful
- Office-Based Opportunity: Ability to work within our Boston office 100% of the time
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Must Have:
- Strong interest in sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and engaging with potential clients.
- Desired Skills (but not required):
- Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms
- Interest in digital marketing, social media, or local search optimization
