Manager, Key Account - ME/APAC

As Sol de Janeiro is rapidly growing and expanding internationally, we are looking for a Manager, Key Account - ME/APAC to support the business. The KAM will be responsible for driving retailer performance, growing market share across channels & developing enriched retailer relationships at senior levels. The KAM will report to our Brand Manager, Brand - ME/APAC and will manage the Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing - ME/APAC. 

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Brand Manager and retailers to build Joint Business Plans, defining 3-year vision, aligning on key priorities, setting KPIs and regularly monitoring performance and course corrects where necessary
  • Sell yearly commercial and budget plans in partnership with Marketing Manager for each retailer, in line with Go-To-Market strategy to achieve brand objectives and sales targets
  • Negotiate 360 Marketing plans to launch Innovation/brand campaigns across all elements of mix (Retail Animation, Trade Marketing, Online visibility, Social, Influencers…)
  • Lead regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction, identify opportunities for improvement, and explore potential upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Work with Planning Manager on core and newness forecasts
  • Work hand in hand with International VM team to implement merchandising updates and elevate shopping experience in-store
  • Ensure flawless execution of brand vision in e-commerce across all touchpoints of web, app, social.
  • Track sell-in/sell-out at retailer/market level, analyze campaigns & new launches performance to draw key learnings and recommendations
  • Monitor stock levels and SISO with retailers to resolve grey market issues
  • Define education plans and gratis program for retail staff
  • Support day to day market and business requirements (strategic presentations, regulatory affairs, customer service, budget tracking…)

Requirements:

  • Business School or University Master Graduate, with a major in Business, Management
  • Minimum 5-6+ year solid experience in sales & negotiation, joint business plan negotiation with retailers, preferably in retail/cosmetics/luxury goods.
  • Knowledge and affinity with retail, trade marketing and international business. Interest in the beauty industry is preferred.
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills, rigor, follow through, adaptability, proactivity, entrepreneurship spirit, “can do” attitude, ability to multitask and interact with cross-functional teams and with retailers are essentials for the job.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory. French is highly valued to facilitate team bonding.
