Senior Producer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Producer to lead the production of all video and photo content for the Sol de Janeiro brand. This role requires a strong production background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead a team while collaborating effectively with cross-functional partners across the brand.

The position will report to Executive Producer.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Production:
    • Oversee the end-to-end production process for all video and photo content, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Work closely with the Director of Post-Production to manage all pre-production needs.
    • Proven track record of leading video production, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with creative vision and brand standards.
    • Lead on-set production, ensuring all creative vision and brand guidelines are met.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Collaborate and manage a team of producers, coordinators, and other production staff, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.
    • Provide clear direction and support to ensure the team delivers high-quality work that aligns with brand objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with Creative, Marketing, Packaging, and Project Management teams to align on project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure all production needs are met and expectations are managed.
  • Budget and Resource Management:
    • Develop and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
    • Source and negotiate with vendors, freelancers, and other external partners to secure the best resources for each project.
  • Quality Control:
    • Maintain a high standard of quality across all content, ensuring consistency with the brand’s aesthetic and messaging.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, Media Production, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in video and photo production, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of content.
  • Proven experience leading production teams and managing large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of video production workflows, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working in the beauty or fashion industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in production software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar.

Salary Range

$110,000 - $120,000 USD

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
