People Operations, Data, and Technology Director
Sixty million Medicare seniors live with chronic disease. The care system sees most of them twice a year. Cadence is building the infrastructure to support them every day.
Cadence is a clinical AI company that delivers continuous, proactive care for older adults with chronic conditions like hypertension, heart failure, and diabetes. We pair patients with a dedicated clinical team, integrate deeply into health system EMRs and workflows, and use our Clinical Intelligence platform to monitor vitals, surface risk early, optimize medications, and close care gaps between visits. The result: patients engage with care 100x more than before Cadence, clinicians focus on judgment instead of administrative work, and Medicare saves $2M a week.
We operate as a full clinical care delivery organization, not a software vendor. Our clinicians work alongside health system partners, extending the reach of local primary care providers into patients' homes. We're now applying AI agents across these workflows – from alert review and medication titration to lifestyle coaching and care coordination – with clinicians always in control of clinical decisions.
The Role
We're hiring a Director of People Technology, Data & Operations to build and own the operational infrastructure that scales Cadence's People function alongside the company.
This is a strategic and deeply hands-on role. You will own the People technology ecosystem, design and systematize end-to-end people operations processes, and build the data and reporting foundation that connects workforce intelligence to Finance and company-wide business decisions. You will report to People leadership and work closely with Finance, Legal, and Business Intelligence to ensure the People function delivers margin improvement and operational clarity - not just administrative support.
What You'll Do
- Own the full People technology stack - including HRIS implementation, AI-powered service desk deployment, and ongoing governance, integration, and access management across all platforms.
- Design, document, and operationalize scalable workflows and SOPs across the full employee lifecycle: recruiting operations, offer management, onboarding, job and compensation changes, and offboarding.
- Build the People data and reporting foundation - developing dashboards, automated pipelines, and workforce analytics that give People leadership, Finance, and executives clear, actionable insight into hiring, retention, and compensation.
- Integrate People data with Finance, Business Intelligence, and company-wide analytics platforms to support headcount planning, operational scaling, and executive decision-making.
- Drive significant AI adoption across the People function and the broader business - identifying where AI tools reduce manual work, increase throughput, and raise the bar on operational quality.
- Establish audit readiness and operational compliance across background checks, right-to-work verification, regulatory data collection, and required U.S. workforce reporting.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, Legal, and Finance to align People systems and programs with company growth objectives and compliance requirements.
What You Need
- 10+ years of progressive experience across People Operations, HR Technology, and People data in high-growth technology companies.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and managing HRIS platforms and end-to-end People technology ecosystems.
- Experience designing scalable HR operations including workflows, SOPs, service delivery models, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of building workforce analytics dashboards and reporting pipelines integrated with Finance or BI systems.
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Finance, Legal, and executive stakeholders on people programs and systems decisions.
- Experience building and operating in a fully remote, high-autonomy environment with accountability for outcomes across complex, multi-workstream programs.
- Fluency with AI productivity tools (such as Gemini, Notion AI, or comparable platforms) and comfort applying them to structured workflows, reporting, and process documentation.
Compensation
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The base salary for this role typically ranges between $200,000 - $300,000, depending on experience, skills, seniority, and business needs. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for equity as part of the total compensation package. Actual compensation may vary by location.
