Field Marketing Manager: UK, Ireland and Nordics

Location: Basingstoke (Hybrid)

SonicWall seeks a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to spearhead the planning, development, and execution of all field marketing endeavors across the UK, Ireland, and Nordics territories. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the EMEA Field Marketing Director and regional sales leadership to craft and implement a robust marketing strategy aligned with the region's business objectives and growth targets.

Using all tactics of the marketing mix, including but not limited to digital campaigns, social media, webcasts and events, the role will own the strategic planning as well as tactical execution and analysis of marketing programs. The position requires a blend of strong marketing execution and communication capabilities along with an ability to build and manage relationships with both internal and external (partner) marketing, sales and executive teams. As a small but highly interactive and engaged team we look for an energetic, upstart marketing professional, that can work autonomously but loves to interact with others, doesn’t hesitate to build relationships across countries, continents and cultures and brings a strong team spirit.

Responsibilities include:

1. Develop Regional Marketing Strategies: Create comprehensive marketing plans tailored to specific regions to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth, both directly and through/with our community of partners and distributors.

2. Event Planning and Execution: Organize and execute various events such as trade shows, conferences, workshops, and product launches to engage with target audiences and generate leads.

3. Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to understand their needs, provide marketing support, and ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales objectives.

4. Lead Generation: Implement lead generation campaigns utilizing a mix of online and offline channels, including email marketing, social media, direct mail, and advertising.

5. Content Development: Collaborate with the content marketing team to create compelling marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and presentations, tailored to regional audiences.

6. Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer and partner needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape in each region. Analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to evaluate campaign performance and optimize strategies.

7. Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets for assigned regions, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.

8. Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate partnerships with local organizations, industry associations, and influencers to expand brand reach and drive customer acquisition.

9. Brand Representation: Serve as the primary brand ambassador in assigned regions, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning across all marketing channels and touchpoints.

10. Leadership: Provide guidance and support to regional sales teams, partners, distributors and external agencies to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.

 

Qualifications

· Proven experience in B2B marketing, with a focus on field or regional marketing roles, 5+ Years Experience Required

· Experience in channel environments and the IT security industry are of advantage

· Autonomous and structured way of working

· Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

· Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

· Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

· Ability to travel frequently within assigned regions as needed.

· 2- 3 office days per week in Basingstoke, UK office or as required
