Title : Senior Solutions Architect 
Location : USA – Remote | Must be willing to travel

Overview: 

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will be working with our customers and partners to architect SonicWall’s Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) solutions within their environments. You’ll be the voice of the customer/partners and be responsible for leading and managing relationship with the main technical point of contact at each of these customers and partners.

You’re core responsibilities include managing named strategic accounts and expansions within each partner and customer-base. This is a key role for SonicWall to ensure CSE works well with existing accounts and rapidly growing new set of customer/partners. In addition, you will be working closely with the engineering and PM teams and provide customer/solutions feedback to improve the product/services usability, quality and play a key role in delivering unsurpassed support services, enhancing the customer experience. This role provides an opportunity to work on the products with cutting edge Cyber Security technologies and collaborating with some of the most advanced engineers in the industry. 

Key Responsibilities include: 

  • Hands-on management of key MSP and Customer relations from technical perspective to build a trusted advisor relationship
  • Lead the technical Pre-Sales and Post-Sales efforts from initial discover and qualification, solution design, demo, proof of concept, bill of materials including scope for of work for professional services
  • Can proactively assess solutions in production and seeks to help customers and partners optimize and make use of licenses and features across their business
  • Focuses on delivering the best possible user experience and ensures the products/services are providing excellent value to the partners and customers 
  • Identify new use cases within an existing customer or partner, ability to build a deployment plan and support the roll out from a design perspective
  • Share best practices in design and deployments
  • Oversees critical escalations between customer, partner and SonicWall.
  • Looks to share roadmap updates and collect feedback to product management, support, engineering and sales leadership
  • Can host quarterly business reviews bringing together key stakeholders from SonicWall, partner and customer
  • Provides and maintains quarterly reports on the health or the account and expansion opportunities
  • Seeks to build the account to be referenceable.
  • Work alongside Sales account management in partnership to retain and grow the business
  • Participates in key co-sponsored events and webinars as technical champion and presenter

  • Identifies systemic and pervasive issues related to products and/or processes and drive actions to prevent future problems
  • Sets clear objectives, evaluate progress, and instills a high-performance culture with focus on teamwork/collaboration, service excellence, ownership and accountability 
  • Remain current of the new product developments and providing input and tactical direction to the business on the customer services and support challenges 
  • Represents Support/Customers in various cross functional leadership meetings with Sales, Engineering, PM teams & others in enhancing the customer experience with products & services 
  • Effectively communicates the critical accounts issues status to Sales, Engineering, PM Leadership, and other invested parties 

 Desired Education and Experience: 

  • Requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience as an Information Security Architect, or Sr. Consultant
  • B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/MIS/Business or related field equivalent preferred
  • Prior experience managing customer/partner accounts from a technical perspective
  • Technical experience in the Cyber Security, Cloud, and Network Security Industry 
  • Experience as a network administrator (or equivalent) in a Windows or Unix environment 
  • Knowledge of Network Security (Routers, Switches, firewalls, VPN routers) 
  • Knowledge of Cloud and Virtualization platforms 
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully execute requirements based on a SOW and project plans
  • Background in internetworking, LAN, and WAN technologies 
  • Background in debugging broad, complex, and unique enterprise environments with mixed media and protocols 
  • Strong experience of leading complex enterprise projects using a structured approach
  • Good technical knowledge of network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers, proxies)
  • Excellent technical knowledge of: Networking principals - TCP/IP, routing, DNS preferred
  • Strong experience of architecting/designing enterprise solutions (application services, network or security)
