Director Regional Sales

Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead a team of Territory Managers, spearhead our channel sales strategy, and accelerate growth to exceed targets. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth through the delivery of comprehensive security solutions via channel partners and direct touch organizations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Channel Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to maximize revenue. Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable new partners while expanding existing partnerships. Cultivate strong relationships with key partners to foster collaboration. 
  • Sales Leadership & Management: Provide inspirational leadership to the channel sales team, set clear expectations, and drive performance. Implement effective sales processes and metrics. Coach and mentor team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness. 
  • Revenue Generation & Growth: Achieve and exceed revenue targets through the channel sales network. Develop innovative sales programs and incentives. Collaborate with marketing to create targeted campaigns and tools. 
  • Strategic Partnerships & Alliances: Identify and establish strategic partnerships to expand market reach. Negotiate and manage complex partner agreements. Represent the company at industry events to enhance visibility and network with potential partners. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work effectively across departments to identify and execute new growth opportunities. Coordinate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives. 
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and strategic insights on channel sales performance, revenue growth, and key initiatives. 

Qualifications: 

  • Experience:  A proven track record of building and managing high-performing cybersecurity channel sales leadership teams and consistently exceeding revenue targets. 
  • Channel Expertise: Deep understanding of channel sales models, partner programs, and incentives. Strong existing partner network with the ability to identify and recruit new partners. 
  • Leadership & Management: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
  • Business Acumen: Strategic thinker with a comprehensive market understanding and the ability to develop and execute effective plans. 
  • Partner Focus: Proven success in building value-add models for MSSPs, MSPs, and Value-Added Resellers. Skilled at identifying partner needs and mapping relevant solutions. 
  • Technical & Communication Skills: Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. 
  • Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, execution-focused, highly motivated, with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach. 

Education and Experience: 

  • 10+ years of cybersecurity channel experience driving ARR/MRR. 
  • 5+ years of management experience. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Experience working with field marketing and managing partner marketing budgets.
