About Cloud Secure Edge

Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) is SonicWall’s cloud-delivered Security Service Edge (SSE) platform, providing enterprise-grade Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), VPN-as-a-Service, Secure Web Gateway (SWG), and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) capabilities. CSE enables organizations to enforce least-privilege access policies across managed and unmanaged devices, continuously verifying user identity, device posture, and contextual signals before granting access to private applications, SaaS resources, and internet destinations. This is a high-growth, strategically critical product line at the center of SonicWall’s SASE transformation.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to help shape and drive SonicWall Cloud Secure Edge. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue between engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success—translating market needs and customer insights into product direction. You will operate at the intersection of deep technical understanding and sharp commercial instinct, influencing the platform’s evolution to deliver measurable security outcomes for SonicWall customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Influence and help define the Cloud Secure Edge product vision and strategy; own the execution of the multi-quarter roadmap aligned with SonicWall’s SASE and Zero Trust go-to-market objectives.
  • Prioritize features and capabilities based on customer feedback, competitive intelligence, market trends, and engineering feasibility.
  • Develop and present business cases for new investments to executive leadership, including TAM analysis, win/loss data, and projected impact on ARR.

Technical Product Ownership

  • Partner closely with engineering leadership to define requirements, write detailed specifications, and make informed trade-off decisions on scope, architecture, and delivery timelines.
  • Drive integration strategy across SonicWall’s security portfolio, including firewalls, endpoint agents, and threat intelligence services.
  • Ensure extensibility for MSP automation workflows and third-party integrations (SIEM, SOAR, IdP).
  • Evaluate and influence platform architecture decisions related to multi-tenancy, scalability, and cloud-native deployment models.

Zero Trust & SASE Domain Leadership

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on ZTNA, SSE, and SASE frameworks, educating cross-functional teams and informing competitive positioning.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape (Zscaler, Palo Alto Prisma, Cloudflare, Netskope) to identify differentiation opportunities and parity gaps.
  • Translate regulatory and compliance trends (NIST Zero Trust Architecture, CISA guidelines) into actionable product requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Go-to-Market

  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop positioning, messaging, competitive battle cards, and sales enablement content.
  • Work directly with strategic customers and MSP partners to validate product direction, conduct design-partner programs, and gather feedback.
  • Support sales engineering teams with technical deep-dives, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Define and track product success metrics including adoption, activation, retention, NPS, and ARR contribution.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on network security, cloud security, or identity/access management products.
  • Deep working knowledge of ZTNA, SASE, SSE, SWG, CASB, and/or VPN technologies and their underlying architectures.
  • Proven track record of shipping cloud-native or SaaS products at scale, with experience managing multi-tenant platforms.
  • Strong technical fluency: ability to engage with engineering teams on API design, microservices architecture, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Experience working with channel and MSP partner ecosystems in the cybersecurity space.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to C-level stakeholders.
  • AI fluency and demonstrated ability to prototype with AI tools: comfortable leveraging LLMs, copilots, and generative AI to accelerate research, ideation, spec writing, and rapid prototyping of product concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a cybersecurity vendor in the SASE or SSE market (e.g., Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks, Cloudflare, Netskope, Fortinet).
  • Familiarity with identity providers (Okta, Azure AD, Ping) and their integration patterns with ZTNA platforms.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or relevant cloud/security credentials.
  • Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools (Jira, Aha!, Productboard).
  • Background in data-driven product management with proficiency in analytics platforms (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Pendo).

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
