Onsite Working Schedule:

This role operates over a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern - working 8am until 7pm on-site at our Liverpool City Centre Office (Old Hall Street)

Role Overview:

Working in a fast-paced environment, we’re looking to for individuals with the drive, desire and attention to deal to ensure all bugs are identified, thoroughly investigated and accurately reported within the Certification & Operations Dept. 

This role is critical to the delivery of projects and releases throughout the year

What you’ll be doing:

  • Thoroughly test all submissions to ensure compliance with the Technical Requirements Checklist across all supported platforms, including PSVR.
  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of SIEE CertOps testing practices and procedures
  • Quickly learn any updated CertOps procedures and/or TRC requirements and alter testing accordingly
  • Raise any issues with test procedure and processes to Team Leaders, offering solutions where applicable.
  • Support and assist in the training of any member of staff when necessary
  • Check the content of applications for Legal issues, copyrights and age rating issues
  • Produce manual functionality reports, to ensure that they are correct against submitted game code

Bug Testing

  • Ensure all bugs are identified and thoroughly investigated and recorded (existing & new version codes)
  • Communication - Provide accurate progress updates to direct line manager, when requested
  • Ensure all relevant CertOps procedures are followed and compliance adhered too
  • Keep up to date with all PlayStation platforms, their respective TRCs and requirements.
  • Learn and maintain knowledge on the use of key Certops systems, such as SHIP and Unity.

  • Be methodical and analytical, displaying excellent problem identification and investigative skills
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication (Level 2 English)
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Be open and willing to adapt to change, for example: test team changes, process changes, documentation changes.
  • Be able to cope under pressure and able to work in a fast paced environment

Technical ability:

  • Computer literate, with experience with various software, such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Technical and Professional Knowledge – The ability to show, understand and bring an appropriate level of expertise to the role
  • Quality and Standards - The ability to achieve high standards and quality in work
  • Creativity – The ability to innovate and establish creative solutions as and when needed
