Role Overview: 

We’re looking for a Designer to join our Creative Services team for an initial 6-month period. Please note this role has been assessed as Inside IR35, and payment will be processed via PAYE or an umbrella company through our third-party partner.

This role is ideal for someone with solid experience who is ready to take greater ownership of their work and contribute to high-profile PlayStation experiences across digital platforms. 

You’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging design across a range of touchpoints, including PlayStation Store, web, email, and campaign assets. Working closely with cross-functional partners, you’ll help translate briefs into effective creative solutions while continuing to develop your craft and strategic thinking. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Designing and delivering high-quality creative assets across digital platforms 
  • Taking ownership of briefs from concept through to final delivery 
  • Applying and evolving brand guidelines across a variety of outputs 
  • Collaborating with designers, producers, and stakeholders to deliver effective creative solutions 
  • Adapting and localising global campaigns for different markets and formats 
  • Contributing ideas and creative thinking in team reviews and brainstorming sessions 
  • Managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Continuously improving workflows and ways of working 

What we're looking for: 

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality design and creative problem-solving 
  • Solid understanding of design principles for web including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, composition and user journeys. 
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma 
  • Ability to interpret briefs and translate them into effective creative output 
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to feedback and iteration 
  • Good communication and collaboration skills across disciplines 
  • Ability to manage your time and priorities effectively 
  • Passion for gaming, entertainment, or digital experiences 

Desirable:  

  • Experience working on digital marketing campaigns across web, email, or in-product surfaces 
  • Basic 3D and motion or animation skills (e.g. After Effects and C4D) 
  • Experience working with brand guidelines at scale 
  • Understanding of performance-driven creative and optimisation
