Manager, Sync - Mass Appeal (Los Angeles Based)
As the Manager, Sync you will:
What you'll do
- Hybrid role.
- Actively pitch and market catalog to the Film, TV, Advertising and Gaming community, as well as respond to briefs, to effectively procure placements and increase sync revenue.
- Cultivate relationships with Company labels, artists and writers, including strong support for the Mass Appeal label.
- Coordinate with internal Company departments to secure artist/song assets and information and pursue original music opportunities for the roster.
- Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns to maximize potential of sync opportunities.
- Support and contribute to the greater Record Label with A&R initiatives and feedback on new/potential signings and upcoming releases.
- Create, develop and maintain new and existing relationships in the l community including music supervisors, film and TV networks, advertising agencies, video game companies, etc.
- Attend company and industry events such as shows, conferences, panels, showcases and mixers to stay current and aware of upcoming sync opportunities.
- Work with artist managers and publishers to ensure placement opportunities.
- Organize and tag all music in disco and help manage song metadata for licensing purposes.
Who you are
- 3+ years prior experience in sync related position
- Passion for music, both current and catalog, with broad knowledge of film, tv and video games.
- Established connections within sync community
- Able to work in a faced paced environment
- Demonstrated experience in attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong marketing, project management, and problem solving skills
- Self starter with ability to work independently and with a team
