As an Administrative Assistant you will provide administrative support to Palm Tree Records, a Joint Venture with Sony Music Entertainment. Palm Tree Records takes a holistic approach to artist development with an unwavering commitment to career building, creating loyal fan bases, and strategic planning for global success.
What you'll do:
- Act as a liaison between Palm Tree Records and a wide array of internal and external contacts including artists, artist managers, third party vendors, internal departments, etc.
- Provide administrative support for Senior Product Manager and President.
- Maintain database of streaming, radio and international contacts.
- Preparation of sales reports that include all elements of promotional and tour activities for assigned artists.
- Preparation of photo and video production agreements for vendors.
- Help coordinate invoices related to marketing costs for assigned artists.
- Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on daily charts, stats, pop culture and social media trends.
- Help maintain social media accounts for Palm Tree Records.
Who you are:
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1-2 years of prior administrative experience. Experience at a music company is preferred.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- A proactive, flexible, self-starter who has strong problem solving, social, writing and interpersonal skills. Exceptional communication and time management skills.
- Must be able to work independently but be a team player and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to manage time and priorities, set and achieve goals and balance multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously.
- The use of discretion and the maintenance of high levels of confidentiality are also required.
- Must be available to work in office Mon-Fri and sometimes overtime and to attend occasional evening showcases as required.
- Bonus if you have experience working with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere) and Canva.

New York Pay Range
$40,000 - $45,000 USD
