
DGM D2C
This role sits at the intersection of music, culture, and commerce—focused on deepening artist-fan relationships and expanding the label’s physical product footprint across digital and retail channels. The ideal candidate will spearhead our efforts across three high-growth areas: fan engagement platforms, direct-to-consumer (D2C) commerce, and B2B distribution.
What you'll do:
- Define and execute the roadmap for the label’s fan platforms—offering exclusive content, early access drops, memberships, and live engagements. Leverage fan data and insights to tailor experiences and optimize engagement.
- Lead the launch and management of the label’s e-commerce and merchandise strategy. Collaborate with artists and product teams to build product lines. Manage D2C operations including storefronts, logistics, customer experience, inventory Optimize user acquisition, conversion rates, and retention.
- Develop and grow offline distribution partnerships for artist and label merchandise across retail chains, independent stores, and pop-up formats. Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners (distributors, stockists, aggregators, event merch partners). Establish commercial terms, pricing structures, and inventory planning strategies. Lead physical retail activations at concerts, festivals, cultural events, and in-store campaigns.
Who you are:
- Previous Experience: 5–10 years of experience in D2C, online and offline retail distribution, channel sales, merchandizing, preferably within music, lifestyle, or new age brands
- Education: Degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of artist branding, fan engagement, pop culture, fashion trends, e-commerce, digital marketing, negotiation skills, ability to interpret sales and consumer data
