On the music side, SONY MUSIC MASTERWORKS is comprised of the label imprints Masterworks, Sony Classical, Milan Records, XXIM Records, and Masterworks Broadway which collectively, specialize in instrumental music (classical, neo-classical and classical crossover), soundtracks (film & television, video games, anime) and Broadway cast albums.

We are looking for a Manager, Digital Content and Social Strategy Marketing, Film & TV to join our Soundtracks Marketing team.

What you'll do:

  • Lead social media copywriting, brand voice, and community management across platforms, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and fan-first engagement.
  • Own the management and ongoing optimization of multiple social profiles, actively engaging fans and growing vibrant online communities.
  • Optimize and monetizes audio/video metadata and sounds with a strong understanding of SEO and optimally GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) to maximize discoverability in AI-powered and traditional search environments.
  • Leads the overall social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging channels
  • Prepare clear, insightful reports for executives, external partners, IP stakeholders, and project leaders.
  • Analyze performance across posts, sounds, channels, engagement, newsletter segmentation, and overall audience reach to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Demonstrate fluency in fan-created content, grassroots campaigns, and community-driven storytelling.
  • Stay ahead of platform updates, cultural moments, and emerging trends, applying strategic judgment to reactive and real-time content opportunities.
  • Creates compelling UGC and organic content from screenings, events, activations, and pop-culture moments.
  • Brings deep fluency in the digital media ecosystem, including KPIs, impressions, CTR, CPMs and engagement metrics.
  • Track competitive activity on an ongoing basis and proactively shares insights with the broader department.
  • Develop clear, effective briefs for external agencies and collaborates on multi-faceted social campaigns.
  • Partner closely with marketing leads to review campaign strategies, maximize cross-platform impact, and ensure timelines, plans, and opportunities are clearly communicated.
  • Track and reports on campaign performance with actionable recommendations for optimization, iteration, and improvement.
  • Build and maintains strong internal and external relationships that encourage collaboration, accountability, and constructive feedback.
  • Translate influencer campaign data into actionable insights that inform strategy, creator selection, and content optimization.
  • Owns and manages the social media calendar, planning and forecasting content weeks to months in advance.

Who you are:

  • Have 4-6 years of hands-on experience developing content for social media accounts + running point on digital campaigns from strategy to execution.
  • Prior experience in entertainment, film/TV, music, or media environments is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Adobe Suite programs including Photoshop – to create new visually captivating basic content in a short timeframe
  • Strong experience briefing creative consultants and agencies to produce attractive, effective content, with the ability to guide concept development, oversee execution, and ensure deliverables support broader digital and social campaign strategies.
  • Experience using CapCut and Edits
  • Proven track record working with social media agencies, influencers and external content creators including fluency with negotiation and deadlines
  • Experience with web analytics tools and managing ad platforms in Google Analytics, Meta Business Manager, Tik Tok for Business, etc.
  • Fluency in paid and organic social-understanding how content, media, and platform algorithms work together to drive performance
  • Strategic thinker with a creative POV and clear understanding of what makes content resonate on social media platforms
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with un-prompted follow-through

The anticipated annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
