
CRM & Audience Executive
The CRM & Audience Executive supports the development and execution of Sony Music Australia's audience growth strategy across owned channels. Working closely with the Director of Digital Marketing & Audience Development, Paid Media Manager, and Social & Content Manager, this role is responsible for audience data management, CRM campaign execution and audience insights.
The role plays a critical part in connecting audience acquisition, engagement, and retention activities, ensuring fans are effectively captured, nurtured, and converted across artist campaigns, tours, merchandise, and other commercial opportunities.
What you'll do:
CRM Campaign Management
- Support the planning, creation, and deployment of email, SMS, and other direct-to-fan communications.
- Execute CRM campaigns aligned to release schedules, tours, merchandise launches, and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain CRM calendars and ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on time.
- Coordinate campaign assets and copy with marketing, digital, and creative teams.
Audience Development & Data Management
- Manage audience databases and ensure data accuracy, hygiene, and compliance.
- Build and maintain audience segments to support campaign targeting and personalisation.
- Assist in developing strategies to grow first-party data across artist and label touchpoints.
- Support data capture initiatives across websites, competitions, pre-saves, stores, and ticketing campaigns.
Fan Lifecycle & Journey Development
- Support the creation and optimisation of automated fan journeys, onboarding flows, and retention programs.
- Assist in mapping fan touchpoints across the customer lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion through audience nurturing.
Campaign Support Across Digital Team
- Work alongside the Social & Content Manager to support audience growth and fan engagement initiatives.
- Ensure audiences acquired through paid media, creators, and partnerships are effectively captured into owned channels.
- Support strategic partnership campaigns through audience activation and reporting.
Reporting & Insights
- Monitor CRM performance including open rates, click-through rates, subscriber growth, conversions, and revenue.
- Produce regular reporting and campaign analysis.
- Translate audience data into actionable recommendations for campaign optimisation
- Identify audience trends and opportunities to improve performance.
- Support the day-to-day management of CRM platforms and associated integrations.
- Maintain best-practice processes and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and consent management requirements.
Who you are:
- Demonstrable experience in CRM, digital marketing, audience development, or a related role.
- Experience using email marketing and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of audience segmentation and customer lifecycle marketing.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with data and performance reporting.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Passionate about music
- Experience in music, entertainment, sport, media, gaming, or consumer brands.
- Familiarity with first-party data strategies.
- Experience with customer journey automation.
