What You Will Do
We are seeking a hungry, humble, and smart Resource Manager to join our growing Operations team in North America. This role is critical to ensuring our people are aligned with the right projects at the right time, while supporting career growth, business efficiency, and client success.
As a Resource Manager, you will lead the planning and allocation of global resources across projects, partnering closely with delivery leadership, talent acquisition, and operations teams. You’ll also support the development of scalable processes and tools that drive strategic workforce allocation and operational excellence.
Ideal candidates will be able to:
Resource Planning & Allocation
- Proactively recommend staffing solutions based on skillsets, experience, availability, and career goals.
- Manage and fulfill resource requests across North America, balancing client needs with internal capacity.
- Monitor and optimize employee workload and realization metrics.
- Monitor bench resources and align them with upcoming opportunities, including certification planning and readiness.
- Partner with regional teams to optimize global capacity and improve staffing flexibility and margin.
Strategic Workforce Insights
- Analyze historical trends and business forecasts to provide actionable staffing insights.
- Identify skill gaps and support the creation of new career paths aligned with business needs.
- Inform leadership of risks related to resource shortages or misalignment.
- Drive certification tracking and enforcement in collaboration with leadership and People & Culture, ensuring alignment with pipeline needs.
Process & Systems Optimization
- Collaborate with global Resource Management peers to share best practices and drive consistency.
- Support cross-practice and cross-region staffing initiatives.
- Contribute to technology enhancements (e.g., Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Anaplan) that improve forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure data accuracy across resource planning tools and enforce adherence to staffing processes and guidelines.
Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Development
- Build strong relationships across delivery, sales, and operations to become a trusted business advisor.
- Support and mentor junior resource managers globally.
- Deliver training on resource management tools and processes to internal teams.
- Lead staffing communications with autonomy and confidence, backed by data-driven insights and trusted relationships.
Hiring & Talent Strategy
- Partner with Talent Acquisition and leadership to define strategic hiring needs, prioritizing flexible, multi-skilled consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in Resource Management, PMO, or similar roles.
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and resource planning tools (Salesforce, Certinia/FinancialForce, Anaplan).
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across teams and time zones.
- Resource Management Certified Professional and/or Project Management certification preferred.
