Responsibilities include: 

As an essential member of our clinical team, you'll help improve patients' oral and overall health by delivering exceptional periodontal care and education.

  • Perform comprehensive oral and periodontal assessments 
  • Remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments. 
  • Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures. 
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash. 
  • Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs. 
  • Take dental X-rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation. 
  • Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth. 
  • Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.

What We're Looking For 

We're seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Dental Hygienist who is passionate about patient care and committed to creating an outstanding patient experience.

 Qualifications 

  • Newly licensed Dental Hygienist are encouraged to apply. 
  • Active Ohio Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and infection control protocols
  • Understanding of OSHA andhealth & safety regulations 
  • Experience with periodontal charting and digital radiography preferred
  • Strong computer and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

 

Working Conditions: 

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment
  • Must be able to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
  • Must be able to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
  • Must be able to work around medical equipment and instruments
  • Must be able to adhere to OSHA and infection control standards
  • Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations
  • Final compensation will be determined based on your experience and qualifications.

Position Base Pay Range

$38 - $42 USD
