Role Description:

This position is accountable for digital and technical operations across the enterprise. Tightly aligned with Spectrum Vascular’s current business goals and
future growth plans, the DTOD will define and establish the Digital and IT transformation, vision, strategies and associated systems architecture for the
company. The DTOD will drive business operations technology deployment across the enterprise, ensuring execution excellence, and the ongoing stability,
performance and availability of the systems/platforms deployed. As a new company, the DTOD will build a high-performing, forward-thinking team culture,
with the aim of becoming an industry leader, and an employer of choice. This position will provide strategic vision, operational leadership, policy direction and
oversight within the office of the DTOD.

Role Responsibilities: 

Operations, Infrastructure & Architecture (internally focused)

  • Develop technology roadmaps, programs, schedules and associated budgets in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Define and implement methodologies and frameworks focused on robust system designs, testing and strict validation protocols.
  • Define and implement the technology architecture and associated infrastructure required to support the SV operating systems/applications (E-commerce, CRM, Manufacturing, 4PL/WMS, Financial Accounting, Telecommunications, R&D) to maximize overall business performance and scalability.
  • Develop and implement an enterprise ERP system, and associated system architecture to automate business processes, enabling seamless real-time data exchange across the enterprise 
  • Manage and maintain Application Management Services (AMS) when infrastructure and application support activities are outsourced to third party providers.
  • Establish, build and deploy a business intelligence (analytics) strategy/roadmap. 
  • Manage vendor and partner relationships as it relates to applications/software, systems integrations, cloud technologies/solutions.
  • Manage third party IT support (CMIT) including ensure SV has adequate and current laptop inventory to support the needs of the growing organization.
  • Define Production Support teams and associated tools/processes to maintain accountability, and ensure the ongoing stability, availability and performance of production and development environments.

IT Risk Management & Compliance including Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity

  • Complete periodic IT Risk and Compliance assessments by identifying current/future risks/vulnerabilities/threats (data security/privacy, systems access). Develop and implement risk reduction strategies based on likelihood/probability and severity of impact. 
  • Ensure system redundancy. In the case of unforeseen disasters, develop and implement failover and disaster recovery mechanisms, enabling the rapid restart of operations. 
  • Develop and implement business continuity plans.
  • Develop and implement KPI’s for the monitoring of the operational health of the SV enterprise and associated platforms.
  • Implement frameworks, processes and systems which safeguard SV’s digital assets from internal and external threats.
  • Define policies and implement procedures to ensure the ongoing security of all technology platforms.
  • Ensure compliance to industry/regulatory standards.

Digital Technology Innovation (externally focused)

  • Build and deploy customer-facing digital technologies (IoT, AI, customer applications, E-commerce platforms) to maximize value delivery to SV’s customers. 
  • Build and deploy digital technologies to further improve customer engagement and user experience.
  • Develop, build and deploy business analytics (data-driven insights) to further improve customer and supplier engagement.

Role Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor Degree in IT, Software Development, Computer Science or Electronic Engineering.
  • MBA, MSc IT, Computer Science or Business Strategy preferred.
  • 10 – 15 years (minimum) of technology experience, particularly in technology leadership roles, and/or selecting and managing outsourced IT services.

Required Knowledge and Capabilities:

  • Successfully implemented ERP/CRM systems and business processes at a region/country level.
  • Planning and execution experience of data analytics deployment, associated with Digital or ERP/CRM systems.
  • Strong experience in Cyber Security and cloud computing.
  • Medical Device or similar regulated industry experience including working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
  • Experience working with vendors and third-party providers including CMOs and 3PLs.
