Objective of the Role

The IC1 SRE Engineer I is responsible for supporting the reliability, availability, and performance of the company's IT infrastructure and applications. This entry-level role focuses on ensuring the stability and efficiency of systems through monitoring, automation, and incident response, contributing to the overall success of IT operations.

 

Main Responsibilities 

1. System Monitoring: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of infrastructure and applications.

2. Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, helping to diagnose and resolve system reliability issues.

3. Automation: Support the development and implementation of automation scripts and tools to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.

4. Performance Analysis: Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues, providing actionable insights.

5. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.

6. Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members to support reliability engineering projects and initiatives.

7. Learning and Development: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge through training and hands-on experience.

8. Security Compliance: Assist in implementing security measures to protect systems and ensure compliance with security policies.

9. Autonomous Work Culture: Actively contribute to creating an autonomous work culture by taking initiative, being self-motivated, and collaborating effectively in an agile and lean environment.

Required Knowledge and Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

2. Basic understanding of system reliability concepts, including monitoring, automation, and incident response.

3. Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools.

4. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

5. Good communication and teamwork skills.

6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

7. English Level: Intermediate
