We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to support the Accounting & Finance organization with day-to-day transactional recording and reporting among other activities.  This individual will help develop and automate data reporting, assist with recording of cash transactions, and manage Accounts Payable processes.  The right person must be able to be highly collaborative as they will work with various teams across the organization.

This is a hybrid position in our San Francisco, CA office. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with our offshore accounting team to manage the accounts payable process
  • Work with our offshore accounting team to manage the recording of cash transactions
  • Review cash reconciliations
  • Work with fellow accounting team members to perform month-end close activities as needed, inclusive of preparing and posting journal entries
  • Identify and drive continuous process improvement
  • Approach & execute ad-hoc data requests creatively while identifying root cause problems
  • Must have a keen eye for reconciliations and data accuracy, the ability to troubleshoot code and models, and the ability to check for duplicates

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, preferably Power Pivot & Power Query
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen circumstances in a fast-paced environment
  • BS in Accounting preferred

The base salary range listed will vary depending on location and experience.

Base salary range

$70,000 - $84,000 USD
