Associate Software Engineer
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Labor Management Systems team, a group dedicated to developing cutting-edge solutions that simplify and optimize restaurant labor management. As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing, and maintaining software solutions that optimize labor scheduling, tracking, and management for our clients in the retail and hospitality industries. You will work on building and supporting high availability, real time systems that are the secret sauce to providing a competitive edge to our customer base.
Location : Bengaluru (Hybrid )
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of web and mobile applications, ensuring they are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly.
- Develop and implement features using both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Collaborate with team members, including product managers, designers, and senior engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development and production environments.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and practices, improving skills and contributing to team knowledge.
Desired Qualifications
- Good understanding of both front-end and back-end development, with knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in core technologies: Golang, PHP, TypeScript, React, MySQL, Docker, Elastic Beanstalk, and AWS. Familiarity with these technologies or a willingness to learn is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on contributing to high-quality software projects.
- Ability to tackle technical challenges with practical solutions and contribute effectively to team projects.
- Good problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to debugging and troubleshooting.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical team members.
