We’re looking for a Senior Strategy & Operations Manager to join our Product & Engineering Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Product & Engineering Operations, this role is a strategic partner to senior Product and Engineering leadership – including the Chief Product Officer (CPO), Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – focused on driving clarity, alignment, and operational excellence across our internal product development ecosystem.
You will own the connective tissue between strategy and execution, ensuring the systems, rhythms, and communications that enable our teams to ship high-impact work with velocity and focus. This is a highly cross-functional, high-trust role that demands systems thinking, attention to detail, structured execution, and executive presence.
This full-time position reports directly to the Director of R&D Operations. Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in office 2-3 days a week. Our office is located at 60 Madison Avenue.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Strategy & Operations Manager will drive on the below responsibilities, supported by the Director of Product & Engineering Operations.
- Product Development Operations: Drive improvements to the workflows, rituals, and tooling that power internal product development—removing friction, increasing velocity, and surfacing key tradeoffs.
- Strategic & Quarterly Planning: Lead quarterly planning cycles, including roadmap definition, product submission process, and roadmap disruption protocols; surface and resolve misalignments quickly with senior leadership.
- Executive-Level Decision Support: Facilitate informed decision-making by preparing crisp updates, option frameworks, and recommendations for CPO, CTO, and their leadership teams.
- Solution & Roadmap Disruption Reviews: Own solution and roadmap disruption review operations—ensuring the right discussions happen at the right levels, with clear inputs, decisions, and follow-through.
- Leadership Communication: Craft and manage high-quality communication across the P&E org—All Hands decks, executive emails, strategy briefs, and more—to ensure alignment, clarity, and visibility.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze operational and product development data to identify patterns, uncover inefficiencies, and drive informed decisions on process improvements, resourcing, and roadmap priorities.
- AI-Powered Workflow Optimization: Identify and lead AI/automation opportunities to enhance internal operations, reduce manual burden, and increase decision-making speed.
- PM Enablement: Create scalable systems and resources that support product managers in executing effectively—onboarding, playbooks, templates, and planning infrastructure.
- Staffing & Resourcing Visibility: Maintain up-to-date visibility into headcount, capacity, and staffing across key initiatives—partnering with functional leads to inform resourcing decisions.
- Offsites & Org Rhythms: Lead planning and execution of team offsites, cross-org gatherings, and operational ceremonies that support alignment and team health.

- Product & Engineering leaders consistently rely on this person to frame strategic options, drive alignment, and bring clarity to complex decisions.
- Roadmaps and planning cycles governance are predictable, effective, and tied to company priorities.
- Executive communications are thoughtful, high-quality, and build confidence across the org.
- AI-powered tooling is measurably improving team efficiency and reducing operational friction.
- Product managers are well-supported by clear processes, documentation, and enablement infrastructure.
- Offsites, solution reviews, and comms rituals foster transparency, accountability, and culture across the org.
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of strategy & operations, product operations, or program management within a high-performing tech org, preferably embedded in product or engineering.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence senior executives, including VP/Senior Director-level leaders, with confidence and precision.
- Deep understanding of product development lifecycle, organizational design, and operational best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform strategy, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement; proficiency in tools like Excel/Sheets, SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau) is a plus.
- Excellent communicator—able to distill complexity into actionable, audience-appropriate messaging.
- Skilled in planning, systems thinking, and building process without bureaucracy.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving toward clarity in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Bonus: Experience designing or deploying AI tools to optimize team workflows or decision-making.
The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 - $194,150, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually using Radford Global Compensation Database at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
