Workplace Mental Health Consultant [Full Time] - Denver, CO

As a Workplace Mental Health Consultant, you will provide management consultations, training, critical incident response, and assessment and referral mental health support to leaders in a Fortune 500 company in the retail industry. You may also provide consultation to HR, program managers, and supervisors on workplace and organizational issues. This role will report to the Spring Health Clinical Manager.
Onsite Logistics:
- In this hybrid position, you will be assigned to one Human Resources Director (HRD) and will provide virtual support to all locations associated with that HRD. Your primary working location will be your home office in the Denver, CO anchor market, allowing you to manage your calendar based on the needs and availability of the HRD district.
- You will be available to offer in-person support to locations within a 20-mile radius or a 60-minute commute each way from your home office in the Denver, CO anchor market.
- In-person services will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, and a lead time of two business weeks is required to request in-person services. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis, particularly for Critical Incident Responses (CIR).
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide consultation and support to managers, people teams, and members that enhances employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness within a virtual first, onsite-eligible delivery model at customer stores and distributions centers within the Denver Market during typical business hours.
- Proactively develop strong and trusting relationships with leaders and HR points of contact and execute against a local action plan for the customer locations in the Denver market.
- Coordinate and deliver critical incident response, inclusive of, but not limited to, 1:1 consultations and group debrief services.
- Conduct company tailored training and Spring Health benefit promotion events to action on market needs and drive engagement and utilization on the platform.
- Develop expert-level understanding of the customer benefit ecosystem and available support programs, and are able to initiate and facilitate appropriate referrals to members.
- Complete required internal training and assignments and attend Spring Health Clinical Team meetings
- Follow Spring Health policies and maintain all confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards
- Track and monitor available data to identify strategic workplace wellbeing insights, recommend targeted interventions, and collaborate with customer points of contact to successfully deliver targeted interventions.
- Support leaders in assessing for risk and managing member and organizational crises by providing in-the-moment consultation support.
- Provide management consultation that enhances employee wellbeing, satisfaction, and workplace effectiveness.
- Facilitate informal referral intakes according to established guidelines by identifying member needs, communicating the most appropriate support services, and assisting the member in gaining access to services..
- Support rehab referral cases. Confirm that necessary paperwork is in place to both providers, HR/Managers including signed releases in order to coordinate follow-up with treatment providers, and other necessary HR/Managers.
- Engage in supervision with your Clinical Manager to identify and problem-solve issues that serve as a barrier or disruption to care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all service delivery.
- Participate in strategic planning and advising meetings on a regular cadence with the customer’s leadership team.
- Represent Spring Health and help to support/reinforce program parameters and goals.
- Communicate with local points of contact and cascade any needs to Spring Health partners through routine meetings and touchpoints.
- Proactively develop relationships with key customer contacts and attend customer meetings as requested/appropriate.
- Other responsibilities as they pertain to the success of this role
What we expect from you:
- You have an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Colorado.
- (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.). We are not able to accept applications from anyone requiring licensed supervision.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience with at least 1 year experience as an independently licensed clinician.
- You have training and experience in delivering management consultation, critical incident response, and training presentations
- You're comfortable with technology and are telehealth competent.
- You have training and experience in evidence-based modalities of care, including short-term, solution-focused therapy
- You are comfortable tailoring service delivery to companywide needs and initiatives.
- You are comfortable providing consultation on safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks.
- You are committed to high quality documentation of service delivery that is completed in a timely manner
- You like working independently, but would also enjoy having the support of a team and opportunities for connections and collaboration with other providers.

- Required to have at home WiFi and a personal device that connects to the WiFi to support the need for 2FA set up.
- You acknowledge and understand that responsibilities within this hybrid role require an ability to commute within a radius of 60 minutes and / or 20 miles from your home address.
- Customer specific preferences:
- Diverse leadership experience is a plus
- Knowledge or experience in working in retail spaces is a plus but not required
The target salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$110,000.00. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
