Independently operate maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, repair and manage AV systems and peripherals.

· Daily morning check of all conference rooms to proactively identify issues and ensure they’re all in working order for the day’s meetings.

· Own pre-meeting AV checks for high-profile events as well as for VIP / executive video meetings.

· Assist with the scheduling of AV support for high-profile events as well as for VIP / executive meetings.

· Ability to troubleshoot, upgrade and /or replace AV components.

· A clear understanding of audio-visual signal flow troubleshooting.

· General understanding of industry leading vendor equipment.

· Ability to coordinate external vendor support when required.

· Complete familiarity with—and adherence to—standard business practices and procedures.

· Fully meet key support performance metrics and SLA’s.

· Familiarity with Service now ticketing.

· Consult, manage, and possibly lead client pitch expectations and technology support.

· Strong understanding of Crestron, Poly and Cisco AV endpoints.

· Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, Blue Jeans and WebEx video conferencing platforms.

· Live event production and support experience.

· Consistent and accurate AV inventory management.

· Real time communication of any high-profile event issue.

· Creating a productive work environment using trust and other appropriate strategies

· Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees.

· Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

· Set clear team goals.

· Oversee day-to-day operation, delegate tasks and set deadlines.

· Monitor team performance and report on metrics.

· Motivate team members.

· Discover training needs and provide coaching.

· Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.

Soft Skills

· Exemplary communication and follow-up skills.

· Ability to work well individually or in a team setting.

· Outstanding customer service and the ability to build working relationships with business stakeholders.

· Industry Certification (preferred)

· Certified Technology Specialist - CTS

· Looking for a candidate with three high-level skills:

1. Doer – Very strong technically so we can fix and handle issues internally, engages with our vendors to schedule repairs when necessary, continually visits the assigned spaces ensuring all equipment is up and running, willing to work after hours and offsite for agency events.

2. Thinker – Looking ahead for potential issues, eyes, and ears open for new IT opportunities, investigating new technology, and raising it to the attention of AV team leaders.

3. Relationship Builder – Excellent customer service skills, ability to understand the business and speak their language, and build relationships with heads of new business, finance, digital, events, accounts, and executive assistants so we know what’s in the pipeline before it happens.

Physical Demands:

§ Fine and/or gross motor skills, including the ability to grasp, lift and/or carry or otherwise move packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 60 lbs.

§ Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.

§ Physically able to talk on the phone and input data simultaneously.

§ Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater.

§ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.

Pay Range

$36 - $40 USD
