Loan Agency Business Development Director Position Summary   

The Loan Agency Business Development Director is responsible for defining and implementing a growth strategy for the loan agency product within their respective territories.  As a member of the Business Development team, he or she is responsible for their success and meaningfully contributing to the success of the entire team.   

The Director will work collaboratively with peers and the Regional Managing Director, Loan Agency to achieve annual goals and build relationships to sustain long-term sales growth 

This person will deeply understand our customers’ needs, effectively work with other members of the business development team and the relationship management team to cultivate relationships, deliver extraordinary value and effectively communicate our value proposition.  

The successful candidate will also be responsible for growing and nurturing the company brand to ensure SRS Acquiom has an ongoing and widespread reputation for exceptional quality and integrity.   

The base salary range for this position is between $150k - $180k - depending on level of experience. 

This position can be fully remote. 

Loan Agency Business Development Director Primary Responsibilities   

  • Support the sales strategy for loan agency and the implementation within their respective territoriesSuccessfully drive value-based sales and business development strategy & execution.  
  • Assist in setting sales goals and budgets for the Loan Agency BD team. 
  • Support the creation of a team environment within the BD team as well as the relationship management team for the Loan Agency Product. 
  • Responsibility of cross selling other SRSA products when out in the marketplace.  
  • Develop deep relationships with new clients, partners and influencers while deepening current relationships. 
  • Optimize pricing to maximize revenue in line with business and profitability objectives. 
  • Work with Marketing to monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback and insight to Regional Managing Director, Loan Agency and the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). 
  • This role will require significant travel for in-person meetings with customers, partners and to develop key relationships. 

Loan Agency Business Development Director Required Qualifications & Skills 

  • 5+ years of related sales experience, preferable within professional services or financial services industry. 
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.  
  • Excellent general management, analysis, and negotiation,. 
  • Track record of driving cross-customer relationships.  
  • High energy and passion for the job.  
  • Strong focus on delivery of a customer experience that consistently exceeds the customer’s expectations.  

Loan Agency Business Development Director Commission Information 

  • Uncapped commissions structure  
  • Commission is paid over the lifetime of the transaction 

Loan Agency Business Development Director Desired Characteristics   

  • Identifying the highest priority targets and strategies to build relationships and product(s) market share. 
  • Achieving and surpassing sales goals and targets.  Maintaining calling and sales reporting standards. 
  • Determining optimal sales channels and methods with the Head of Sales (cold calling, mass marketing, direct sales, etc.) for various segments of the market and executing of plans best suited for the product and environment.  
  • Exemplifying logic in making decisions based on relevant facts and data. 
  • Supportive of a positive and success driven culture. 

Loan Agency Business Development Director Physical Requirements/Special Demands  

  • Must be available to work standard business hours, in addition to frequent nights/weekends.   
  • Travel may be necessary, up to 30% per month, and may not be scheduled in advance.
