Position Summary:
SRS Acquiom is currently recruiting for a Compliance Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Director, Contract Administration. Under general direction, the Compliance Coordinator monitors, oversees, and/or performs a wide variety of administrative, and program support activities to support the Compliance Team.
This position requires fielding complex analytical questions across business lines and being able to communicate effectively and professionally. The ideal candidate is a motivated, highly detail oriented, individual with a strong work ethic. This person should have excellent oral and written communication, analysis, and documentation skills.
This position is fully US based remote.
The hourly range for this position is between $31.00/hr and $36.00/hr depending on level of experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor emails to acknowledge receipt and ensure they are routed to the right party and responded to timely.
- Create and assign cases in system of record.
- Coordinate with internal teams to receive appropriate input.
- Responsible for obtaining language and sending letters to shareholders.
- Coordinate request sent to the Compliance Team and direct inquiry to proper party for handling.
- Upload documents to system for recordkeeping.
- Add new files weekly for the Compliance Specialists and Compliance Analysts.
- Complete full reconciliations by reviewing the system of record and comparing them to reports to ensure no task is missed.
- Maintain and update tracking documents.
- Read “tones” within emails and provide updates to management when outside parties are escalating.
- Create agendas and record minutes for meetings.
- Assist with executing documents.
- Help monitor the compliance releases pipeline to make sure statuses are up to date.
- Review internal team’s input on files and update the system of record as needed.
- Send daily reports to Management.
- Review and analyze definite agreements as needed
- Other projects/tasks as assigned by Management.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5 years of customer service preferred.
- 2 years’ minimum experience in the financial industry
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics or Business.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey sometimes complex aspects of a deal to Shareholders effectively and timely in a professional
- Previous experience prioritizing multiple tasks that require a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment.
- Working to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required.
- NetSuite experience would be added benefit, but not required
