Deltek Vantagepoint Finance Consultant

The Vision/Vantagepoint Finance and Accounting Consultant is responsible for engaging with our clients for services including system reviews and implementations, upgrade assistance, consultative training, troubleshooting and assistance with best practices for optimization of the system, specifically as it relates to Accounting and the associated modules. The Consultant should be able to present multiple solutions that best fit the clients’ needs. Additionally, the Consultant is responsible for managing their clients/projects, monitoring budgets, billing, collections and pursuing new services opportunities.
This role needs a combination of expertise, leadership, mentoring skills, and business acumen to deliver value to our clients and contribute to the growth and success of our consulting practice. This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States.
What you’ll do at SN:
- Embrace the SN Way of becoming our client’s most trusted advisor, creating client delight, and meeting service standards
- Conduct and manage Vision/Vantagepoint Finance system implementations
- Coordinate data migration efforts with custom team
- Perform consultative training
- Proactively identify and address potential client issues and collaborate with appropriate internal resources
- Manage/update project plans & update project progress/status in Vision
- Assist in the coordination of custom services as they relate to your projects
- Participate in Deltek lead testing, training, and customer assistance programs
- Support/Participate in User Group Meetings
- Provide sales support as requested
- Assist with developing/maintaining consulting collateral
- Participate in educational programs offered to clients, prospects and employees
What it takes to be a Deltek Consultant:
- 2+ years of project management experience in preferably Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint's Finance/Accounting module
- 2+ years use of Deltek Vantagepoint
- 5+ years accounting experience, covering all aspects of accounting
- Deltek Vantagepoint Certification during interview process
- Understanding of Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint accounting processes and procedures
- Experience with implementing Vision/Vantagepoint systems
- Self-motivated and positive attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Desire for knowledge to keep skill set relevant

- Stage 3 (HR & Executive Interview) with a member of our HR team and with the head of the Deltek Practice
- Stage 4 (Technical Interview) Technical interview focused on Deltek Vantagepoint Skills

Salary:
The salary range for this position is an estimate of $90,000 - $130,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
