Deltek Ajera Consultant

As a Consultant within our Deltek Ajera Practice, you will partner closely with clients to deliver system implementations, consultative training, troubleshooting, and best-practice guidance to optimize their use of Deltek Ajera. You will assess client needs, present tailored solutions, and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle. In addition, you will manage client projects, monitor budgets, oversee billing and collections, and identify opportunities for expanded services.
This role needs a combination of Deltek Ajera expertise, leadership, mentoring skills, and business acumen to deliver value to our clients and contribute to the continued growth and success of our consulting practice.
This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States. What you’ll do at SN:
- Lead or assist with Deltek Ajera implementations, including system setup, configuration, and customization
- Ensure seamless integration of Ajera with existing client systems and business processes
- Collaborate with clients to understand their workflows, business requirements, and goals
- Assess client needs and recommend tailored Ajera-based solutions
- Coordinate with internal SN project teams, including developing and executing project plans to ensure client success
- Adopt SN tools and processes to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery
- Conduct training sessions to enable client teams to effectively use Ajera
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Analyze client workflows to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency
- Develop and implement best practices for project management and accounting procedures
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and strategic guidance
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping clients maximize their investment in Deltek Ajera
What you may have done before:
- Served as a consultant, controller, or senior accounting leader within an architecture or engineering firm using Deltek Ajera
- Led or supported ERP or Deltek Ajera implementations
What it takes to be a Consultant:
- 5+ years of experience working with Deltek Ajera
- 5+ years of project management experience (preferred)
- Controller-level accounting expertise
- Strong understanding of project management and accounting principles, particularly within architecture and engineering firms
- Passion for the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Desire for continuous learning and professional growth
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team

Salary:
The salary range for this position is an estimate of $90,000 - $120,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
